[An hour later and Izuminokami goes to him, dropping an eggplant, a peach, and some cherries in his lap.]

If you wanted these things then you could have just said so like any normal person.

[There can be no doubt that this is exactly the result Mikazuki had expected from this little exchange and yet, as he sits here with pile of fruit in his lap and a cup of tea in his hands, he has to bow his head and try to keep he shoulders from quivering from the laughter he represses. Izuminokami truly is every bit as charming as he claims, though not necessarily in the ways he intends.]

And yet, I obtained everything I was looking for in the end. Will you stay and share them with me?

[That's when Izuminokami narrows his eyes. It wasn't like the other to go this far for this and he sits down next to him, looking at him suspiciously.]

Why do I feel like this is some plan you had?

[Eventually managing to compose himself, Mikazuki seems to ponder the eggplant for a moment, before finally settling on the cherries to hold up as a sort of peace offering to Izuminokami.]

In our line of work and life, I find it is best not to plan for too much, but simply take things as they come. And here you are.

[Then that means that Mikazuki had planned on him coming here. He eyes the cherries but he's spent enough time with Mikazuki to know what he really wanted.

That's why he sighs and leans in to kiss him, moving in to wrap an arm around him. At least Izuminokami is comfortable with the other now, after all of the time they have spent together. When he pulls back, the annoyed frown is on his face still.]
